Chris Headley (Shipwright), has spent the last three years researching and educating himself on what would make the ideal Sports fishing boat! He has spoken to many Professional Gamefishermen, Skippers and Enthusiasts. He has taken onboard all the factors that they have stressed to successfully build a trailerable, economic to run, 5 star amazing boat with all the bell's and whistles!
Along with their Naval Architect Peter Hogbin of Aurora Marine Design, they have come up the very stylish yet practical 'cjh 26' Sportsfisher'. This vessel is designed primarily as a 'day boat' with fast capabilities to offshore fishing grounds, yet it is still comfortable for the occasional overnighter.
This light weight and fuel efficient hull form, combined with modern YANMAR, common rail lightweight diesel motors will ensure top performance and make it a very economical vessel to operate.
Being trailerable makes maintenance easier, the off season hardstand costs minimal, and has many advantages for those who wish to travel around to other destinations and tournaments.
The impressive Carolina styled, flaired bow not only looks great, but will keep the boat and passengers dry. Its combination of deep vee hull, reverse chines and fine entry ensures excellent seakeeping.
